Upload Samples
You have a small set of files you want analysed or stored for reference. The analysts have said they would like to receive the data in Azul.
You have a folder on your computer containing the files. You have:
- a ticket number (optional)
- a small description of what the files are
Steps
- in the top banner, click entities > upload
- look to the 'Source' panel
- make sure the 'samples' source is selected
- the organisation and user reference values should be automatically filled
- in the ticket value, add the ticket number if you have one
- in the description value, add a description if you have one
- look to the 'Files' panel
- click the 'Browse' button to open the file picker
- navigate to your files on disk
- select one or multiple files and click 'ok'
- if ALL of your files are zip files, click the extract checkbox
- optionally add
Extra Settings- click
Extra Settings - add any desired settings
- NOTE - settings only apply to the top level of a submission not the files subsequently extracted from that file.
- click
- look to the 'Submit' panel
- Select the security markings that cover all of your files
- you can specify a more complex security marking by selected the 'custom' item
- check that the 'Upload Files' is enabled
- if not, check the list of invalid items below the submit button for missing data
- click the 'Upload Files' button to submit your files to Azul
- Select the security markings that cover all of your files
- look to the 'Files' panel
- watch the file progress bars to see if the files have been successfully uploaded
- on a successful upload, a 'view entity' link will appear in place of the progress bar
- click this link to see view the analysis of Azul
